Artist: Biana Bova

My name is Biana Bova and I’m a digital illustrator specializing in narrative illustrations. I have a BFA in Illustration at Massachusetts College of Art and Design and I am currently located in Boston, MA. My goal with this poster design was to encapsulate the fun and creativity of the film festival in an eye-catching design. The tattoos of the continents on the figure's skin represent the artists and audiences around the globe participating in AIFF. The bright pinks and oranges of the background grab the viewer's attention while the gaze of the figure's eye encourages the viewer to pause and take in the entire image
