Voices in Our Heads

October 7, 2022

SATURDAY | 12:00pm

Brendan Egan

4 min | 2021 | MA, USA

Synopsis: A couple go on a blind date only to be haunted by the verbal embodiment of their fears and anxieties.

Jury Statement:  Great execution on this project. We love the use of handholding to create tension and suspense. Interesting choice for her to take his hand at the end. I'm not sure what kind of message that gives. Should she have? Didn't he catfish her? Is he being rewarded? All good topics to provoke some dialogue around. However, I'm just not sure about the tone again. Is this comedy or a warning?
